Harp workshop
As a retreat organiser in Adelaide, I invited Vimukti Warr to come and run a harp workshop at a retreat in 2018.
She used different harps during her workshop. First playing and demonstrating simple beautiful techniques.
Later in the workshop we used small harps with colour coded strings, so participants had the opportunity to play simple tunes on the harp.
Vimukti’s enthusiasm, passion and skill comes through when she plays her harps, and she easily demonstrates to the participants how they can play simply as well.
Another harp we used is tuned so that it always sounds good, no matter what strings you touch and play with. Participants can play that one with the harp against the chest, touching their heart, to bring relaxation and healing.
This harp workshop was so beautiful. The gentle harp music created a peaceful ambience which complemented the rest of the retreat weekend. We all loved the opportunity to play the harps and have them sound so harmonious.
I so enjoyed this harp workshop and there was such a positive, appreciative response from people, that I had no hesitation in inviting Vimukti back for the next retreat.
At the retreat last year, Vimukti ran a Harp Sound Bath, where we lay on mats and let the healing vibrations of her transcendent harp music wash over us.
Everyone loved the relaxing Harp Sound Bath. It was a real blessing to have Vimukti share her harp playing and healing with us.
